Everyone says, "Oh that's the hood."

It may be hood,
It may be street,
But that's what makes,
My heart beat.

You can be scared all you want,
But I'm not gon front.

New routes to new places,
So they can't see our ghetto faces.

Driving through here,
With their windows rolled up,
Whispering to their spouses,
"Let's hope we don't get stuck up."

It may be likely,
But not always true.
Stop letting the media,
Influence you.

How dare you judge, the place
That makes my heart beat.
Then come to our new arena
On Mulberry Street.

Newark may not be the,
Ideal place to live,
but they're the one's,
Finding sex offenders,
Living next to their kids

So from the beats of our hearts,
To the bloods in our veins,
Our city will one day unite,
Conquer and Reign!

A man once walked Earth in a silent stride,
One capable of sweeping violence astray.
A man that is forgotten throughout all the simplicities incapable before,
Never simply thanked but attempted on one day. 

A whisper of his words,
Warm then the soul.
His approach on life.
Similar to the Bible's scroll.

And yet we forget,
His pains and such.
Forget of his sacrifices, his love, his clutch.

It is rare to find humans capable of change,
To change a nation, the true meaning of race.
For we are the human race and nothing but one,
Difference between the worlds:NONE.
